Extracting the Hardware Info File (suffix .ipkg) from an ALEXA
- Make sure an SD card is in the ALEXA, it is turned on and runs Software Update Packet (SUP) 5.0 or later.
- Push the MENU button and go to SYSTEM > FIRMWARE > LICENSED FEATURES.
- Push the soft button HW INFO, and in the following screen the soft button SAVE. The file will now be saved to the SD card (Example file name: "sn2802-AlexaHardware.ipkg")
- Place the SD card in a computer or SD card reader connected to a computer. Copy the hardware info file to the computer so it can be accessed when ordering licenses.
Extracting the Hardware Info File (suffix .json) from an AMIRA
- Make sure a prepared USB stick is connected to the camera and the camera is turned on.
- From the Homescreen, press the jogwheel to open the Menu, then navigate to
System > Licensed Features.
- Press the button
HW INFO, then press CONFIRM. The file will be saved to the USB stick in the folder ARRI > AMIRA > LICENSES as AMIRA-HW-#####-YYMMDD-HHMM.json (##### = camera serial number, YYMMDD-HHMM = Date/Timestamp).
- Connect the USB stick to a computer and copy the HW Info file to the computer so it can be accessed when ordering licenses.
