How to install a license on ALEXA Mini

  • Place the license file on a prepared USB stick in the folder: ARRI > A-Mini > LICENSES.
  • Connect the USB stick to the camera.
  • From the Homescreen, navigate to MENU > System > Licensed Features > ADD
  • Select the license, and start the installation by pressing the wheel.
  • Directly after installation, the feature is enabled for use.
  • Keep a copy of the license file, in case a license is deleted on the camera and has to be re-installed at a later time.
  • An installed license will remain on the camera independent from the USB stick.
  • The license will remain on the camera across the installation of SUPs (Software Update Package).
  • A feature license can be removed at any time from the camera by navigating to MENU > System > Licensed features > DELETE.
  • Select the desired license, press DELETE, then CONFIRM.
  • After removal of the license, the camera has to be rebooted for the removal to take effect on the feature.
  • All installed licenses are displayed at MENU > System > Licensed features.
